The National Exemplar Celebrates 35 Years of Great Food and Service

The National Exemplar opened its doors on April 13, 1983 and has delighted tens of thousands of guests ever since. The National Exemplar will celebrate its 35th birthday of serving breakfast, lunch, dinner and drinks with a weekend of special events – a remarkable accomplishment in an industry where the average restaurant is open just five years.

The National Exemplar on April 13-15 will serve a three-course dinner tasting menu ​of the most popular dishes from when it opened in 1983. Other weekend highlights include:

  • Friday, April 13: 6 p.m. proclamation by Mariemont Mayor Dan Policastro and Mariemont Town Crier Dr. Bob Keys; Surprise birthday gift for guests (while supplies last), plus complimentary champagne toast and bites, live music in Southerby’s Bar.
  • Saturday, April 14: Surprise birthday gift for guests (while supplies last), and a complimentary champagne toast.
  • Sunday, April 15: $3 Mimosas 7:30 a.m. - 2:30 p.m.
