At The National Exemplar, we are committed to your continued safety and that of our staff.

Accordingly, it’s important you know that today we learned one of our employees had just been notified they have tested positive for COVID-19. Effective immediately, we will temporarily close our restaurant, including our carry-out service, so team members can be tested and we can begin an additional, deep-cleaning procedure.

The employee last worked on Sunday, June 21, from 7 a.m. to 3 p.m. The next day, the employee did not pass their daily health self-assessment and did not report to work, following our standard safety procedures. The employee is self-quarantined at home. We will only reopen after our deep cleaning is complete and we can ensure the safest possible dining experience.

As a neighborhood restaurant for more than 37 years, our staff, guests and community will always remain our number one priority. We encourage you to stay connected to our social media channels and emails, as we share important updates. Thank you for your continued support.
