Outside food or beverage (excluding a wedding
cake) cannot be brought into hotel or food or
beverages to be taken from the premises. We
will be happy to cut your wedding cake for no
extra charge.
The hotel or lessees will not assume any
responsibility for loss or damage of personal
articles.
The hotel will not permit affixing of anything
to the walls, floors or ceilings of rooms unless
prior written approval is given. Any outside
contractors for use of the elevator must make
prior arrangement with the banquet director.
Any damage incurred will be the responsibility
of the person in charge of that function.
The food and beverage prices quoted to you
will be guaranteed for your function.
We require your final menu four (4) weeks
before your function and an exact guest count
attending four (4) days in advance. You will
be billed the number guaranteed as this is what
we will prepare for; should a guarantee not
be made within four (4) days, you will be billed
on the tentative number if higher.
A 17% gratuity will be added to all food
and beverage charges.
All applicable taxes will be added to your
bill (under Ohio sales tax law, banquet gratuity
charges are taxable). Any group requested a
tax exemption must submit their tax exemption
number, in writing, two weeks prior to the date
of the function.
A deposit of $300.00 is required to confirm
your function date and time. This deposit is
NON-REFUNDABLE.
There will be a room charge for each function,
this rental is for a four (4) hour function.
Additional time will be $75.00 per hour.
The bar will close no later than 12:00 am.
We reserve the right to refuse liquor beverage
service to any person under the legal drinking
age and any guest who appears to be intoxicated.
An estimate of your total bill based on your
confirmed number will be made four days prior
to your event, this amount must be paid at that
time. The payment should be made payable to
the National Exemplar Restaurant.
There is a $1000.00 sales minimum for each
Saturday function. There is a $750.00 sales
minimum for each Sunday thru Friday function.
Should the bar and food sales not exceed this
amount, the bill will reflect the difference.
